Oxford PV Signs Strategic Licensing Agreement with First Solar, Inc.
First Solar has secured access to Oxford PV’s perovskite IP portfolio for use across US utility-scale, commercial & industrial and residential solar markets.
OTIF Ventures is pleased to see portfolio company Oxford PV announce a new patent licensing partnership with First Solar, representing another significant step forward in the commercialisation of perovskite solar technology.
This latest development further reinforces Oxford PV’s position at the centre of the global perovskite ecosystem. With the strongest perovskite patent portfolios in the sector, the company continues to execute a hybrid commercial strategy that combines proprietary R&D and manufacturing with strategic licensing partnerships designed to accelerate adoption worldwide.
